Christopher Lloyd exclaiming "Great Scott!" into my camera was pretty much a dream come true I didn't know I had, but that wasn't even one of the top 3 highlights of the 25th anniversary 'Back to the Future' reunion party in New York City last night. (OK, it was definitely top 5.)

On the "blue" carpet, fans went crazy for Huey Lewis, whose music, including the ballad 'Power of Love,' fueled the films. Moviefone asked about his one line, "I'm afraid you're just too darn loud," and Lewis said he did improvise a little bit.

"I padded the part," he said.

Marty McFly himself, Michael J. Fox, said the line fans of the trilogy quote to him most is "McFly, you Irish bug!" (Really?!) While Lea Thompson said the question she's asked most often is: "What was it like to work with Michael J. Fox?" Her answer: "He's always a pleasure. Always funny and sweet and a little bit irreverent."

Thompson also mentioned Thomas F. Wilson, the actor who portrayed the bully Biff Tannen, who noticeably wasn't in attendance last night.

"He doesn't like to come out to these things," Thompson said. "But he's great."

Meanwhile Lloyd said the line fans quote to him most often is, "Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads!" (Another line that was majestic to hear live.) He also cited the third film as his favorite in the trilogy.

Co-creators Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis were also on hand with Zemeckis confirming his involvement in a 'Yellow Submarine' remake scheduled for 2012. Gale talked about all of the future inventions the movies got right.

"We got a lot of them right," he said, citing 3-D movies, multi-channel televisions, video conferencing and jumbo-trons. "The Cubs aren't going to win the World Series. We were wrong about that," he joked. When asked what he hoped was next he answered with the obvious: "Flying cars!"

The party had a cast and creators Q&A session as well as an awesome (and delicious) DeLorean cake by Ace of Cakes. We at Moviefone wish we had a real DeLorean to go back in time and relive this event. (Sorry, we had to!)
