Find Out When 'Waiting for "Superman'" Plays in Your City

Will "Waiting for Superman" be coming to parts of Alabama? Like everywhere else in the country, this type of movie is very relevant to our communities. Please let me know if we can expect it because I would love to start soliciting for people to come out in masses to see this film. Thanks. - Birmingham, AL

I am disappointed by the staggered distribution of this film. The opening date was announced 3 -4 weeks ago. I anxiously waited to see it and told others to look for it in their home town. Only to find that it was not being released in or near my town in NY nor my home town in NJ...

I strongly oppose the bootleg video market and encourage people to support the box office. But sadly this type of distribution following mega hype encourages it. You guys were on Oprah, MSN and a host of other venues promoting this film. You got the public all excited and geared up to see the film, to get involved. Now you have dropped the ball because 3 to 4 weeks later, it still has not opened in far too many markets.

I was fortunate enough to see it while visiting friends in NJ last weekend. I now live in Binghamton NY. WHEN is it coming here or anywhere nearby??? I have challenged my local school board to see the film and get fired up about what is their responsibility to the students, to the community. I look forward to seeing it again with teachers, friends and community leaders in the local area and encouraging dialogue and challenging us all to take on a greater role in our schools. I am a P/T college professor, I would love to show the film to my class... WHERE IS THE FILM??? Don't leave us hangin'...

I am convinced that if after seeing this documentary, one is not inspired to get involved, then surely s/he is totally devoid of human compassion; Teachers, politicians, parents & non-parents alike!!! These are OUR children, no matter what. They are OUR future!!! Please respond. How do we get the film? Is there a release for educational purpose?
