UnbreakableFor those who enjoyed M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable, there is some good news. It's sequel will somewhat make it to theaters. For those who do not like M. Night Shyamalan, there is more good news: he will not write or direct it.

Basically, Shyamalan is taking his concept for the Unbreakable sequel and making it one of his "Night Chronicles" movies, which is a set of movies in which he thinks of the concept but someone else writes and directs. Basically, I think even Shyamalan realizes that his fifteen minutes were up long ago (and that he's a hack) and his string of "twist" movies were getting more lame as time passed.

I enjoyed Unbreakable and its take on comic book superheroes even if it was intentionally a very slow-moving film. Perhaps Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson could take the same roles even if it's a different movie with a different title and different characters? Hey, I can dream, can't I?
