Adam Wingard's A Horrible Way to Die is set to have its world premiere at next month's Toronto International Film Festival, and we're fortunate enough to offer you a very first look at the film's official "Cinematical" poster, and heck, why not a brand-new shot from the film as well? Above you'll see the rock-solid AJ Bowen (The Signal, The House of the Devil) brandishing a gun in all sorts of intimidating ways. (Yes, there will actually be a series of posters for this film. Eight in total!)
I'm trying to avoid too much information on the flick prior to its debut, but I can tell you it's about a woman (Amy Seimetz) who survived a horribly abusive relationship, only to have the past come knocking at her door -- brandishing a gun and a nifty mustache, apparently. Written by Simon Barrett (a TIFF veteran: Dead Birds), A Horrible Way to Die also stars Joe Swanberg, Brandon Carroll, and Lane Hughes. Check out the poster after the jump, and then visit Heat Vision for your first look at the film's trailer.
