Jessica Alba is looking to bring a little international intrigue to motherhood.

Heat Vision reports that Robert Rodriguez is bringing back the 'Spy Kids' franchise and has enlisted Alba to be the latest 'Spy Kids mom,' following in the footsteps of Carla Gugino from the original trilogy.

Alba will play a retired spy who has been reactivated in 'Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World.' Her two preteen stepchildren will be the latest secret agents to be called upon to save the world as they take on a villain known as the Time Keeper, who has a diabolical plan to stop time. Rodriguez hopes to start shooting the 3D project next month. Original series stars Antonio Banderas, Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara are expected to return in supporting roles.
