I really don't know what to make of this. Is it someone riding the coattails of their 15 minutes? Probably. Does it have anything to do with a rickety old franchise, an incontinent grandaddy of horror? No. It's wine. And wine and Friday the 13th are so far apart that science has no way to measure the distance. Yet here it is. Adrienne King, best known as the Final Girl from the original Friday, now has her own private label of wine. I would honestly expect the Friday franchise to spawn something more along the lines of Pabst Blue Ribbon or whiskey that comes in a plastic bottle, but here comes Alice, classin' up the joint. It's not quite as fitting as Bela Lugosi's wine, but hey, I guess there's a blood metaphor somewhere in there.

From Valley View Vineyards in Oregon comes Crystal Lake Chardonnay and Crystal Lake Cabernet. I'm not usually a wine drinker, but I have to admit that I'm curious. The label alone is enough to make me buy a few. And you can, too. Their website doesn't specify prices, but if you scroll down to the bottom of the site, you'll find some numbers you can call. If any of you end up trying these morbid libations, let us know!
