She's had a life of impossible glamour but don't expect to be seeing it on the big screen any time soon. Brigitte Bardot is blocking plans for a biopic to be made about her because, quite simply, there is "no one who can do it" according to the mysterious beauty.

Plans have been afoot for the movie for a while - the project is listed on IMDb as 'Untitled Brigitte Bardot Biopic' and is being developed by Kyle Newman, writer/director of the Star Wars indie comedy 'Fanboys'. Newman is planning to put his wife, Jaime King, in the lead role.

However, the former actress/model singer/ and, for the last thirty odd years, animal rights activist has other ideas, as she told a French radio station: "A film about my life? But I'm not dead! They wouldn't dare do it without talking to me. If they do sparks will fly."

"I don't agree to a film about me without me having been warned and without me agreeing on who will play my part... There is no one who can do it. They have their own personality, but they don't have mine. I have heard nothing about it and there is no question of doing anything about me without my agreement."

Should the film go into production it's a tough guess as to whether it'll concentrate on the first part of her career as a young starlet who transforms into the iconic image of 1950s beauty or the post-1973 activist who writes angry letters to various heads of state and has been fined five times for inciting racial hatred. Hmmm...
