The cast for George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road is really starting to come into focus. Inception's Tom Hardy is set to take over the role made famous by Mel Gibson (back in the days before he started acting like a real madman ... ) and he'll be joined by Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult amongst others.

Not all the parts have been filled, however, and Heat Vision is now reporting that one of the last open roles may go to Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley.

Fury Road's plot is being kept under wraps, but it appears as though Keough -- the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and musician/actor Danny Keough -- will play one of "The Five Wives," a group of women Max must keep safe. The only other story details we know at this point is that the film is set to take place not long after 1985's Beyond Thunderdome.

Keough made her feature debut earlier this year in The Runaways, where she played Marie Currie -- the sister of Dakota Fanning's character. She's also worked on two films slated to appear next year: The Good Doctor, which finds her appearing alongside Orlando Bloom, and Jack and Diane, a werewolf film with decidedly lesbian overtones co-starring Juno Temple and Kylie Minogue.

Mad Max: Fury Road is expected to go before cameras sometime next year. Rumors have circulated for weeks now that Miller and the cast will shoot not only that film, but a follow-up entitled Mad Max: Furiosa at the same time.
