After viewing the trailer for Astron 6 and Troma's new collaboration, Father's Day, the only word I can utter is "wow." The Canadian film collective promises that this new release will be their "most violent, most depraved, most shockingly offensive movie yet," and I say the trailer essentially proves this isn't mere marketing hyperbole.

Featuring more boobs, penises, and gore than ten normal exploitation movies (and this is just in the trailer...) It appears as though the guys have really outdone themselves this time. I want to see this movie right now -- the low budget effects, over-the-top carnage, and amazingly hammy acting have me already convinced that Father's Day is destined for cult classic status.

We don't know much about Father's Day at the moment, but what we do know is that Lloyd Kaufman and the team at Troma will be distributing the finished product. If the clip, which comes courtesy of mega-awesome movie site Twitch, is any indication then this looks like a throwback to the days when movies like The Toxic Avenger were king of the cult movie world. Truthfully, this looks like a match made in heaven. Troma and Astron 6 look like they're on the exact same page.

Don't just take my word for it, though. Hit the break and check out the trailer for yourself. Needless to say, this is about as NSFW as you can get short of porn.
