Those celebrities who have really taken to Twitter can now use the Internet to post pictures, try out jokes and even -- in one case -- save lives.

15. Elizabeth Banks

Banks is known for her comedy stylings in films like 'Wet Hot American Summer' and 'Zack and Miri Make a Porno,' and her Twitter stream is just as hilarious. Banks really took to tweeting with fellow celebs, posting Twitpics and linking to fun stories. (She ties with actress Mindy Kaling, who is more known for TV -- which is the only reason Kaling didn't make this list.)

Sample tweet: How dork-sad must I be that 1. I admitted to playing Word Mole and 2. I twittered about it. This is the sum of my life at this moment.

14. John Cleese

Following 'Monty Python' legend John Cleese is like having your awesome grandpa on Twitter. His tweets are pretty silly and out there. We wouldn't expect any less.

Sarah Silverman9. Sarah Silverman

Silverman, a hilarious lady who is more known for TV, has been in 'School of Rock' and 'Rent' on the big screen. Silverman is a Twitter fiend. If you're looking for confirmation that DeVito is just like his character Frank on 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' look no further than his Twitter account. Devito tweets a lot, replying back to fans and using some colorful language.

Sample tweet: Can I say it any louder. Stop killing our boys and girls in these stupid useless wars!

Jim Carrey5. Jim Carrey

Carrey's Twitter stream is as manic as the man himself -- and the characters he's played in movies like 'Ace Ventura' and 'Bruce Almighty.' He talks a lot about paintings he's working on, uses the hashtag #BOING a ton and loves exclamation points.

Sample tweet: On sat I was at a 5 star resturant when they switched their regular coffee to #BOING! Couldn't tell until I overtipped. ;^>

4. Ashton Kutcher

'Dude, Where's My Car?' actor Kutcher has reigned as Twitter's original king for a long time. He was the first celebrity to really push the social networking site and expand the boundaries of what a celebrity could use it for. Brilliant -- especially since Kutcher has amassed more than 5 million followers in the process.
