While director Todd Phillips initially denied claims of a Southeast Asian foray, Coming Soon has confirmed that last summer's surprise hit will in fact send its rag-tag guy posse overseas for their next film, which is due for release in summer 2011. 'The Hangover,' which followed the booze-fueled misadventures of three guys at a Las Vegas bachelor party, topped the box office when it opened on June 5, 2009, earning nearly $45 mil during its opening weekend. With no A-listers to speak of, the original 'Hangover' made a star of Bradley Cooper, and boosted name recognition for secondary stars like Zach Galifianakis, who plays the socially awkward brother of the groom, and Ken Jeong, who plays the fast-talking, bad-ass bad guy who famously jumps naked from a car trunk.

The film's key talent are set to return for the sequel -- but will a Thai holiday keep the fun alive? If 'Sex and the City 2' -- which its four female friends make a trip to the Middle East -- is any indication, 'The Hangover 2' better have a good story behind its exotic locales.
