They are implacable foes, waging their contests across the face of the planet and the spread of time: wherever the Red Skull shows his twisted, grinning visage, there you will find Captain America, ready to defend the innocent from the tyranny of terror. So too, for millennia untold, have Thor and his brother, the trickster god Loki, fought their immortal fight on the pages of history. Yes, when these legendary enemies lock horns, no power on Earth or in Heaven can stay their wrath.

Unless, of course, someone wants an autograph.

That's right, comic fans: get ready for the signing of a lifetime, because Marvel Studios has announced their autograph sessions at the upcoming Comic-Con International and these bitter comic book foes will be sitting elbow to elbow, with 'Thor' star Chris Hemsworth (who, naturally, plays Thor, the Norse god of thunder) appearing alongside Tom Hiddleston (Loki, the god of mischief). And that will be followed up with a signing by 'Captain America: The First Avenger' stars Chris Evans (who plays Captain America) and Hugo Weaving (The Red Skull). Fans will also get a chance to grill the directors of those films about every tiny detail, including Odin's shiny gold eyepatch: 'Thor' mastermind Kenneth Branagh and 'Captain America' helmer Joe Johnston will both be on hand for the autograph sessions, which will take place on Saturday, July 24 prior to the big Marvel Studios presentation at 6:30PM. Here's the whole autograph schedule for Marvel Studios:

11:15AM - 12:00PM.: 'Thor' signing: director Kenneth Branagh
12:30PM - 1:30PM: 'Thor' signing: stars Chris Hemsworth & Tom Hiddleston
2:00PM - 3:00PM: 'Captain America: The First Avenger' signing: stars Chris Evans & Hugo Weaving
3:30PM - 4:30PM: 'Captain America: The First Avenger' signing: director Joe Johnston

Of course, considering these are probably the two most hotly anticipated films appearing at Comic-Con this year (sorry, 'Green Lantern'), there are likely to be far more autograph seekers than time will allow. If you want the chance to shake Thor's hammer hand or get a face full of the Red Skull's dust of death, then, you'll have to show up early and get a little lucky: Marvel will begin doling out chances at signing tickets first thing Saturday morning, so make your way to their booth (#2329) right away if you want to seize this rare opportunity.

Because the next time these guys get together, we have a feeling it won't be nearly so polite.
