Who cares about money problems when your head's on fire?

Coming Soon brings news that probably no one on the planet expected -- there's going to be a 'Ghost Rider' sequel, and Nicolas Cage will be reprising his role as supernatural avenger Johnny Blaze.

The actor confirmed the gig early this morning when he was promoting 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' on 'The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson.'

"There's gonna be a new one," Cage told Ferguson after the host presented him with a model of a flaming skull. "I just made the deal today." Who cares about money problems when your head's on fire?

The 'Ghost Rider' sequel will be directed by Hollywood's craziest court jesters, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the manic duo behind the 'Crank' movies.

The news of a sequel comes as something of a surprise, as 'Ghost Rider' didn't exactly set audiences or critics ablaze. The film earned a little over $115 million during its domestic run in 2007, on a budget of $110 million.

No word yet on when production of the 'Ghost Rider' sequel will commence, or who will be joining Cage on the back of his demonic motorcycle.
