Where's The Friendster Movie?
Best Week Ever! cooks up an amazing spoof of the trailer for the movie 'The Social Network' based on Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. In 'The Other Social Network,' Tom from MySpace finally gets the recognition he deserves for creating a space for "a-Holes and weirdos" and "idiots and unsigned new metal bands." In the end, Tom cries: "I was your first friend! I was everybody's first friend!" Damn straight you were, Tom.

I am Cameron's Smirking Revenge
Some very clever YouTubers called Classy Hands created this mash-up that reimagines the 80's classic 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' as if Ferris were all in best friend Cameron's mind (ala David Fincher's 'Fight Club'). We'd say more about it, but the clip speaks for itself -- and plus, the first rule of 'Ferris Club' is, of course, don't talk about 'Ferris Club.'

It's Kind Of A Funny Trailer, Actually
The trailer for the new film 'It's Kind of a Funny Story' was released this week, and it looks brilliant. With a cast plucked from my perfect movie dreams, the film follows a teenager (Keir Gilchrist, the best part of 'United States of Tara') who checks himself into an adult mental institution. Now add funnyman Zach Galifianakis, Oscar nominee Viola Davis, ex-'Gilmore Girl' Lauren Graham and favorite 'Lost' physicist Jeremy Davies, and "kind of" funny doesn't even begin to describe it.

Middling Mix

Shine a Light on Green Lantern
The first photos surfaced this week from 2011's 'The Green Lantern' movie starring hit-or-miss Ryan Reynolds. The movie looks like your typical comic book superhero fare, but what bumps this from "cheesy" to "maybe all right" is the inclusion of indie dreamboat Peter Sarsgaard. Does his awesome presence get negated by 'Gossip Girl' Blake Lively, trying to prove that dying your hair brunette means you can be taken seriously? We sure hope not.

Barbie Bites: 'True Blood' vs. 'Twilight'
'Twilight' and 'True Blood' comparisons have definitely become old news for vampire fans, but has the debate ever been settled using Barbie dolls? Yeah, we didn't think so. At least not until this YouTube video from the guys who do the Marvel and DC spoofs on those Mac and PC commercials. Barbie Bella Swan and Barbie Sookie Stackhouse make the case for their cold-blooded men, Edward and Bill, who then battle it out for viewer sympathy in a very appropriately titled game show.

Want to be a Sex Bob-omb?
Well, 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' fans rejoice, because now you can! Mighty Fine is making it possible for you to wear your favorite graphic novel turned film all over your body. The site is selling colorful t-shirts based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's designs capped off with a buy-one, get-one-free special. Is it cheesy to wear a 'Scott Pilgrim' hoodie to the movie's opening day on August 13? Nah, we say, "Rock on!"

Packages Arrive Shaken, Not Stirred
We're apparently all about fashion this week, because anyone who's ever wanted to be in 'James Bond' film can now be one step closer to their goal. OK, so the golden gun and metal teeth of a Bond villain are more collectors' items than fashion plates, but it's still pretty cool. Factory Entertainment is releasing replica Bond props including Solitaire's Tarot Cards and the titular golden gun used in 'The Man with The Golden Gun', which doesn't fire a bullet but does turn into a cigarette lighter, case, fountain pen and cufflink. For the particularly obsessive 'Bond' fan, the teeth are cast from the same mold used to make the ones from the movies for actor Richard Kiel, whose signature adorns the accompanying plaque (No pun intended).
