As you may already know, Predators comes out in theaters today, and Fox was wise enough to re-release the original Predator on an all-new special edition blu-ray to get everybody pumped up. But, if you're like me, a modern man on the go, you may not have time to watch Predator again before you take in its latest sequel. Don't worry, I'm here to help.

In only five minutes, you can experience the entire 1987 John McTiernan film, as re-told by geek goddess Kayla Kromer and company. Kromer stars as a fairly convincing, albeit prettier, Dutch as he (she?) faces off against an alien hunter from another world, with all of the crackling dialogue and amazing special effects you remember from the original. This low-fi version won an audience award as part of a "sweded" film contest hosted by the Alamo Drafthouse. It currently lives on as part of the Alamo's pre-show reel for Predators, if you need to see it on the big screen (and you will, trust me).

You can see the best remake of Predator ever made, after the jump.
