Michael Caine, who plays Bruce Wayne's butler, Alfred, in the franchise, let it drop that production will kick off in April 2011, according to Digital Spy. Caine revealed the news during the London premiere of his new movie 'Inception,' which was helmed by 'Batman' director Christopher Nolan.

Still, despite the big reveal, Caine says he isn't sure yet if Alfred will be in the next movie.

Nolan's 'Batman' is a decidedly darker take on the comic, with Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader in 2005's 'Batman Begins' and 2008's 'The Dark Knight.' The latter movie was a huge box-office success, and also won co-star Heath Ledger a posthumous Academy Award for his role as the Joker.
