The Fall GuyWhat's that scraping sound? It appears to be coming from the base of that barrel. Hmmm, in news that really shouldn't come as any surprise, classic 80s TV show, The Fall Guy - starring Lee Majors as a Hollywood stunt man - looks like it's next in line for a big budget Hollywood movie reboot.

The original series - which was a TV regular between 1981 and 1986 - told the story of Colt Seavers (Lee Majors), a Hollywood stuntman by day and bounty hunter by night, who would use his stunt skills to drive a large pick-up truck really fast over even larger objects with the intention of catching bad guys. He was joined in his adventures by Howie (Douglas Barr) and Jodie (Heather Thomas) - who would inexplicably wear a bikini whenever the story required it.

Apparently, DreamWorks are the studio behind the proposed Fall Guy movie - inspired by what Twentieth Century Fox did with The A-Team - and are already in the process of looking for a writer.

To be honest, they're can't be many 80s TV show left to be made into movies. We've already had the likes of Charlie's Angels, Starsky & Hutch and the Dukes of Hazzard, while the aforementioned A-Team film is due here in a few weeks. And next year, of course, will bring us Russell Crowe taking on the Edward Woodward role in The Equalizer movie. Hang on a minute, though, has anyone had a crack at TJ Hooker yet...

Take a trip back in our time machine now as we present to you the classic opening sequence of The Fall Guy...
