- And speaking of Verbinski, he's still on-board BioShock as a producer and tells IGN that the lukewarm performances of Prince of Persia at the US Box Office has not had an effect on their own production. Their roadblock has to do with making the budget more affordable without losing any elements that would make the film a, in Verbinski's own words, "hard R".

- Very cool news: Twentieth Century Fox' official Twitter feed confirms that Andy Serkis will be playing the lead ape, Caesar, in Rise of the Apes. Better yet, Serkis will be pairing back up with the Weta team that made his motion capture performances as Gollum so famous. Suddenly CGI apes doesn't sound too terrible...
