Kevin Spacey has been cast in a dark comedy about downtrodden office workers, out to murder their evil bosses in the upcoming New Line film Horrible Bosses. Seem a little familiar? It should -- Spacey filled a similar role as a bad boss tortured by an angry employee in the memorable 1994 comedy Swimming With Sharks. It's not exactly typecasting to hear that Spacey's going to be a bad boss again, but it's impossible to think of Spacey in Horrible Bosses without being reminded of Sharks.

The new film stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis as the employees, and Colin Farrell, Jennifer Aniston, and Kevin Spacey as the bosses so bad they've earned their own death sentence. The movie, from director Seth Gordon (King of Kong) and written by Freaks and Geeks alum John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, starts filming this July in Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It's been a long time since we've seen Spacey in a big movie, and this sounds like the kind of smarmy a-hole that Spacey can play in his sleep. WIll he be able to top his own role as the condescending, underhanded boss from Swimming With Sharks?
