Ever wish you could have been the lucky one to invent something like double-sided tape, Post-its or even the Snuggie? Clearly all of those ideas are taken, but there's got to be more simple concepts out there ripe for expanding. If two horny drug addicts can do it, anyone can!

Set in 1995, Middle Men is inspired by the true story of Jack Harris (Luke Wilson), a businessman with a knack for solving company problems. When he's offered a new job opportunity, he bites and in come Wayne Beering and Buck Dolby (Giovanni Ribisi and Gabriel Macht). This duo may not appear to be the brightest, but they're actually the ones who developed a method for selling adult entertainment over the web. The money is pouring in, but the boys need help managing their subscriptions and perfecting their business model. With Jack's guidance the cash flow increases, but so do the risks, namely the Russian mob, a young porn star and the FBI.

Middle Men certainly doesn't belong in a summer packed with blockbusters, but with an intriguing story at its core and a big name cast including Wilson, Ribisi, Kelsey Grammer and James Caan bringing it to life, the film has the potential to make an impression and the trailer proves it. It provides a little taste of everything you can expect from the film - humor, nudity, suspense and even some heart.

It should be interesting to see how a film about the creation of Internet porn stacks up against one about the birth of the website that made participating in social media as much of a necessity as brushing our teeth daily, Facebook. Of course The Social Network has a major leg up on Middle Men being the product of a major studio as opposed to an indie effort, but there's something about this back-story that seems far more entertaining than creating profiles, liking status updates and poking people. We'll see if that's the case when Middle Men hits theaters on August 6th, but for now, click here to check out the trailer over at Apple.
