Kid-sized 3D glasses will be available starting Friday for the opening of 'Toy Story 3.' The kids glasses are smaller versions of standard 3D glasses and are made to fit children 8 and younger.

The glasses will be made available nationwide by the Beverly Hills-based RealD 3D media company.

"The little ones will be able to comfortably enjoy the great summer movies coming out in RealD 3D wearing glasses designed just for them,'' Joseph Peixoto, RealD's president of Worldwide Cinema, told ComingSoon.net. "Kid-sized RealD 3D glasses are made to the same high-quality standards as adult size RealD glasses, with each individually packaged in sealed bags, ensuring they are clean and fresh for every moviegoer.''

Disney/Pixar's 'Toy Story 3,' starring the voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, opens nationally Friday on 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D screens. It's rated G.

Moviegoers of all ages are encouraged to go green by dropping the 3D glasses into collection bins located outside the theater after the movie. The RealD website has a theater locator to find a 3D screen near you.
