Jodie FosterOscar-winning actress, Jodie Foster, has been accused of attacking a 17-year-old boy in the parking lot of a shopping centre in Los Angeles after he tried to take a picture of her. The actress denies the allegations.

The incident occurred on May 29 in the parking lot of the Grove mall in Los Angeles when Foster was reportedly leaving the cinema after seeing a film with her two sons, Charles and Christopher, when the teen started to photograph her.

The actress is then supposed to have confronted the boy, pushed him in the chest and said, "Do you even have a mother, you slime ball?" before leaving him with "scratches and bruises on his arm".

But now the one piece of evidence that would resolve this accusation - the shopping centre's surveillance tapes - have apparently gone missing. But now the one piece of evidence that would resolve this accusation - the shopping centre's surveillance tapes - have apparently gone missing.

"When the incident initially occurred with my son I contacted The Grove to make sure they had video surveillance in the valet area," the boy's father told a US news website. "They assured me they did. But detectives told me that when they contacted The Grove for the surveillance video it had "mysteriously disappeared".

Foster's representatives, however, claim the 17-year-old was a paparazzi photographer and not a fan.

"The guy was a professional photographer with a camera bag and a large lens," her rep said in a statement.

"He followed Jodie and her two sons from the cinema in The Grove to the valet parking area. He crowded her and her two sons and took pictures the whole time. Jodie told him to stop but he did not do so."
