Director Tim Sullivan is back, and his newest project -- 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams looks to pick up right where the first film left off. What does that mean? It means you can expect lots more campy redneck action, gore, nudity, and H.G. Lewis-inspired shenanigans. For proof of that, Dread Central shared the new "Beyond Red Band" trailer. It's definitely not safe for work.

The sequel brings back the crazy characters you loved from the first film (although Robert Englund has been replaced by Bill Moseley) and more gory hilarity ensues. This year, when northerners don't show up for the annual Guts 'n Glory Jamboree, the rednecks go to them. They wind up in Iowa, where they run across a group of young adults on a reality show called Road Rascals, and then the gore starts to fly.

Director Sullivan cut this clip for the Big Bear Horror Festival back in October. He assures us this is the trailer "the studio didn't want you to see." He goes on to sell it by adding "It's got all the GORE, all the NUDITY, all the POLITICALLY INCORRECT HUMOR that this film is getting both applauded and crucified for!"

It's definitely got gore and some nudity and even a scene featuring man-goat love. It's also kinda spoiler heavy and definitely not safe for work, so keep that in mind before viewing.
