Vampire Bill is headed for the big screen.

Heat Vision reports that 'True Blood' star Stephen Moyer will be sinking his teeth into roles in two upcoming films: 'The Double,' a political thriller, and 'The Big Valley,' an adaptation of the 1960s television series of the same name.

Moyer will be playing a Russian spy in 'The Double,' which features Richard Gere as a CIA operative who teams up with an FBI agent (Topher Grace) to investigate the murder of a senator. The film is the directorial debut of scribe Michael Brandt ('Wanted'). Vampire Bill is headed for the big screen.

'The Big Valley' follows the adventures of ranchers in 19th century California, with Jessica Lange playing the matriarch of the Barkley family, a role originally played by Barbara Stanwyck on the TV series. Moyer will play Jarrod Barkley, the family's attorney, a role originally played by Richard Long.

Moyer will also appear in the post-apocalyptic vampire movie, 'Priest,' opening next March. Meanwhile, the third season of 'True Blood' begins on HBO on June 13.
