Deadline reports that Paramount and Nickelodeon have brought on Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form to produce the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot under their Platinum Dunes banner.

Platinum Dunes is branching out by taking on the new live-action 'TMNT,' as the company thus far has been dedicated to horror projects such as the 'Friday the 13th' and 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' remakes.

The deal puts Michael Bay at the center of two Paramount projects, as he began production on 'Transformers 3' on May 17.

The original live-action 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' (pictured) was released in 1990, earning over $200 million in worldwide box office and spawning two sequels. The animated 'TMNT' was released in 2007.
