Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 underwhelmed pretty much everyone who saw it, but that hasn't put much of a dent in the rocker/filmmaker's movie career. Zombie's already been attached to yet another remake of the classic sci-fi flick, The Blob, has been shopping around his wrestler vs. satanists film Tyrannosaurus Rex, and hinted at doing a full scale version of his Grindhouse trailer Werewolf Women of the SS. If that weren't enough, he also found time to film an episode of CSI...

One thing we hadn't heard a peep about in all this time was the Firefly clan featured in House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. I always figured the reason we hadn't heard anything more about these characters was because the gave them a pretty definitive ending in Rejects, but maybe Zombie has figured out a way to get around that...

Bloody-Disgusting pointed out a poll on Zombie's blog asking readers which film they'd like to see him tackle next, and the choices were The Blob, Werewolf Women of the SS, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and The Devil's Rejects 2. This marks the first time we've heard so much as a peep about a sequel to that film.

Naturally, there are no details at this point -- and the whole thing could be a joke, but would you be interested in seeing a prequel set sometime between House of 1,000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects? Apparently most of Zombie's fans would -- it's the top vote getter so far.
