'Gideon's Sword' is Michael Bay's second book-to-film deal in a year, as he's currently producing 'I Am Number Four,' a sci-fi thriller based on the novel by James Frey. D.J. Caruso is directing the film with Timothy Olyphant starring.

Bay is currently prepping 'Transformers 3,' which opens July 1, 2011.
