Orlando Bloom, whose last major role was as a swashbuckling hero in 2007's 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End,' will segue to the dark side as the dastardly Duke of Buckingham, the British nemesis of D'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos and Aramis in Paul W.S. Anderson's 3D version of 'The Three Musketeers.' Anderson's 3D version of 'The Three Musketeers.'

British actor James Corden has also joined the ensemble cast of the Summit Entertainment film, which will shoot late this summer for a summer 2011 release, according to HeatVision.

The cast for this latest adaptation of the Alexandre Dumas novel now includes Christoph Waltz as Cardinal Richelieu, Logan Lerman as D'Artagnan, Matthew MacFadyen as Athos, Ray Stevenson as Porthos, Luke Evans as Aramis, Milla Jovovich as M'lady De Winter and Mads Mikkelsen as the Count of Rochefort. Corden, who starred in the British TV series 'Gavin and Stacey,' will play D'Artagnan's servant, Planchet. In addition, British actress Juno Temple is in negotiations to play the Queen Consort of France, Anne of Austria
