Their love is no longer shackled to the world of music videos. Variety reports that Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood will star in a new horror movie written by Adam Bhala Lough called Splatter Sisters. David Gordon Green, the man who jumped from indie drama to mainstream stoner comedy with Pineapple Express, will direct. If you remember, this makes for two feature horror flicks in the works -- Splatter Sisters plus the Suspiria remake (it's been a long time coming, but word hit last fall that it would finally film this year).

Inspired by the straight-to-cable movies from his childhood, Lough thinks this flick could start a new genre called "Skinemax Cinema." There's no word on the plot, but Green states: "This is a role Marilyn Manson was born to play, and with Evan Rachel Wood bringing dramatic gravity to the ensemble, I have no doubt this will take the horror genre to a new level." A new level of creepiness, perhaps? It was sad/strange enough that after day-dreaming about beating the crap out of Wood in a music video that she'd go back to him, but now a skin flick horror movie? One can only hope that considering the title, she's the one in control of the upcoming splatter.

You might also remember that this isn't the first flick Manson has acted in alongside his girlfriend. in 1999's Jawbreaker, he got to rock Rose McGowan like a creepy hurricane as The Stranger. Are you ready for "Skinemax Cinema" and whatever it could mean with Manson and Wood? Weigh in below.
