You can find inspiration in the most unlikely of places. Some were moved by Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire to consider life beyond their comfortable existence, where a bucket of chicken is simply a ten-dollar bill away. Others, namely Garfunkel and Oates (the musical duo of Kate Micucci and Riki Lindhome) took up their guitars to write "Running With Chicken", a song celebrating the impulsive need to just grab a bucket and split.

I first heard the song performed live on Doug Benson's excellent I Love Movies podcast a few weeks ago, and I'm glad the duo have released an official video for "Running With Chicken" on Funny or Die, so that I can memorize the lyrics and sing it every time I dine and dash with a crispy ten-piece box tucked under my arm.
