Luckily, Anchor Bay has put a nice non-bootlegged version up for public consumption today. The clip is only a minute and fifteen seconds, but it does a good job of showing us what to expect from the remake. The teaser looks pretty brutal and like it's keeping the concept of the original completely intact.
In that film, a young writer heads out to the country to work on her book. She's violently raped by four local rednecks, but rather than go to the cops, she sets out to exact bloody revenge on her attackers in the most painful ways she can imagine. It's become one of the most vilified films in history, which makes the fact that anyone would remake it surprising.
The new I Spit on Your Grave is scheduled for a September release. Check out the teaser trailer after the jump.
