The German drama, starring Sibel Kekilli, also won Best Actress for Kekilli's performance as an abused wife.

Eric Elmosnino of 'Gainsbourg, Je t'Aime ... Moi Non Plus' won Best Actor.

In the New York competition categories, Dana Adam Shapiro's 'Monogamy' won Best New York Narrative, while Melissa Leo won a Special Jury Mention for her performance on 'The Space Between.'
