According to Variety, Tyler Perry and Lionsgate will re-team on 'Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family,' marking their 11th big-screen collaboration to date.

The film will be based on his stage play (on tour now), which is centered around Shirley, a mother of five adult children who is dying of cancer. Perry will direct, write and produce the film, in addition to reprising his role as Madea. Tyler PerryShe's baaaack!

'Big Happy Family,' which hits theaters on Apr. 22, 2011, is one of two Tyler Perry films headed to the big screen next year. The other, 'For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf,' opens three months earlier, on Jan. 14.

Perry's films have done incredibly well at the box office as of late, with his last six placing either first or second in their opening weekends.

'Why Did I Get Married Too?'
(in theaters now) has grossed over $57 million, domestically, so far.
