Find out how you could become a super-mega-Hollywood star after the jump... Ever fancied being in the movies? Well, if you're a US resident aged 18 and have an amusing party tale or dance, then here's your chance to get in the spotlight.

Todd Phillips (director, producer and co-writer of last year's Golden Globe winning, The Hangover) has put out a casting call for video auditions from budding unknowns to star in his new, top secret, 'outrageous high concept' movie, currently known as Project X.

Not much is known about the new movie, except that Phillips is producer and 'creative godfather', Hollywood titan Joel Silver is co-producing and the budget is a relatively low $12 million. The requested age for the actors would also suggest that it's probably going to be a teen comedy.

It's unclear why they've launched Project X-Factor to find their leads but, you must admit, it's a pretty cool way of doing things. However, there are a few stipulations and aesthetic requirements for anyone considering sending in a video. The Project X website states that auditionees must tell an embarrassing or 'crazy party story', recount the 'most riskiest or daring thing you've ever done', perform a dance or simply try and make the producers laugh. Auditions should also be filmed in a quiet room, against a white or blue wall and the camera should be steady. Some helpful movie making tips there...

Anyway, that's all the info there is for the time being, so I'm off to fake my birth certificate, get the camcorder out and practice a monologue about the time I tried to start a fight with ten men because I was drunk and thought I was invincible...
