While we still have a few months until The Twilight Saga: Eclipse hits theaters with its meadows and supernatural teen angst romance, Summit Entertainment's Twitter feed has announced that the final trailer will screen this Friday, 4/23 on Oprah. (Don't worry! I'm sure there will still be plenty of clips to come, to make sure we've seen the whole thing before the film is screened.) The studio adds: "And visit our social networks after to chat live with surprise guests from the cast!" Of course, that probably means a chat with a low-profile Cullen or two, and maybe a wolf; it's doubtful any of the oo lala stars will be typing to fans this Friday. Aside from that...

I've got to wonder what's with the choice of venue? While Oprah might be a media maven, she's hardly a shepherd of Twihards. Could, perhaps, an Eclipse star or two pop up in the studio? Her Open Fridays Live has previous boasted names like Hugh Jackman and Seal. And, more importantly in the Twilight community -- what will the trailer entail? Will we finally get peeks into the action? Or just more meadows in angst? There's still room for some of Jasper's funky fight schooling, a better look at Bryce Dallas Howard's Victoria, and maybe even a peek or two at the Cullen histories. Or maybe the screen will just fill with more meadow.

Stay tuned, Friday afternoon.
