THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED!

Since its inception in 2002, the Tribeca Film Festival has quickly become the premier film event of New York City, and one of the most important cinema events in the world. The upcoming 2010 edition promises to be the biggest one yet, showcasing the newest works from celebrated filmmakers, an international display of narrative and documentary films, and live events, Q&As, and speaking engagements with actors, filmmakers, writers, industry professionals, and film scholars. There will also be special gala screenings premiering 'Shrek Forever After,' 'Letters to Juliet,' and 'Freakanomics: The Movie,' a collaborative project from Morgan Spurlock, Alex Gibney, and some of documentary film's other biggest voices.

In years past, film lovers who didn't live in the New York area would naturally feel left out. This year, however, the Tribeca Film Festival is bringing the movies to you in the form a virtual film fest -- and better yet, there are free passes to be given away to said virtual event.

Through the Tribeca Film Festival Virtual (TFF Virtual), taking place April 23-30, you can watch eight full-length 2010 TFF films, 18 2010 TFF short films, conversations with filmmakers and actors, live panels, Q&As, and red carpet events as they happen or on demand, all on a high-def video player. As a TFFV Premium Passholder, you will also have the opportunity to interact with fellow TFF Virtual Festival-goers via online chats and attend live Q&As with the TFFV filmmakers.

To enter the competition, you must submit a comment naming your favorite New York movie. We'll select 5 lucky winners who will receive the virtual pass as well as a swag bag with a Tribeca Film Festival T-Shirt, Hat, and Hoodie -- not to mention some other goodies.

Make sure you enter before 12PM Eastern Time on Tuesday, April 20 and that you use a valid e-mail address. Good luck!

(You can also become a fan of TFF Virtual on Facebook for an additional chance to be daily winner of a TFF Virtual pass.)
