Since her breakthrough, Golden Globe-nominated role as the quirky, half-dead Chuck Charles in the criminally under-watched 'Pushing Daisies,' Friel has enjoyed a steady increase in high-profile roles, including the 2008 film 'Land of the Lost' opposite Will Ferrell.

Next up for Friel is the Woody Allen film 'You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger,' with Naomi Watts and Josh Brolin, and the Colin Farrell vehicle 'London Boulevard,' due out later this year.
