Stephen DaldryOscar nominee Stephen Daldry is hitting the page again -- this time, to direct 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.'

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Daldry, who last year directed Kate Winslet to a Best Actress Oscar in 'The Reader,' will helm the adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer's novel, about a nine-year-old boy who goes on a hunt to find a lock that "matches a mysterious key left by his father when he was killed in the September 11 attacks."

This will be Daldry's fourth time behind the camera. All three of his previous efforts -- 'Billy Elliot' (2000), 'The Hours' (2002) and 'The Reader' -- earned him Academy Award nominations for Best Director.
