If you are like me you are eagerly awaiting the return of Fox's Glee on April 13. Yes, I am a heterosexual male watching a teenage musical show. I just happen to be one that also enjoys good writing, fun characters and the always-welcome presence of hometown gal, Jane Lynch. Chicago is just one of the cities though that will provide us Gleeks the opportunity to see what has happened since Mr. Schuester kissed Emma, the school counselor, a few days early. And you get to help a fun cause in the process.
All proceeds for this special event will go the Grammy Foundation's "Grammy In The Schools." Established in 1989, the Foundation works to bring national attention about arts education for young people. President & CEO Neil Portnow said," Fox and Glee have been dedicated to raising funds for our programs through various opportunities and initiatives, and these screenings are yet another example of their ongoing commitment."
