- Quiet Earth thinks they may have stumbled across the first piece of concept art for Ridley Scott's adaptation of Joe Haldeman's The Forever War. Even if this ends up being completely unrelated, it's a nice reminder that Scott is currently attached to bring to the big screen, what is for me, the definitive military science fiction novel.

- Chloe Moretz, who will be exploding on the big screen in a few weeks as Hit Girl in Kick-Ass, has joined Sam Worthington and Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the serial killer film The Fields. This will mark the second horror film for Moretz, who is also starring in the Let The Right One In remake Let Me In this October.

- Stephen Dorff has signed on for Tarsem Singh's War of the Gods, where he'll play a master thief who helps our hero liberate Greece from the clutches of monsters and mayhem. In other news, Bruce Campbell wants his Xena: Warrior Princess role back.

- If you pirated Uwe Boll's straight-to-video adaptation of the video game Far Cry, I've got some good news for you! You might be getting sued! Far Cry was totally worth it, right?

- Magnet Releasing has picked up the badass sequel to the excellent Spanish pulse-pounder [REC] and will be debuting it in theaters and VOD later this year. In the mean time, check out this trailer.


- The unrated cut of The Wolfman, available on DVD and Blu-ray June 1st, will be 16 minutes longer than the theatrical cut. That's plenty of time to squeeze in a few more jump scares.
