Just when 'Juno' seemed like a distant Oscar memory, Diablo Cody is reuniting with the movie's team for a new film called 'Young Adult.'

Cody won an Oscar for the quirky 'Juno' screenplay in 2008, becoming an indie darling as an unknown writer with an edgy backstory and a first film that grossed $227 million after Fox Searchlight released it in 2007. Mandate Pictures will be drawing on the same talent pool for Cody's new project, with Mason Novick, Cody and Lianne Halfon and Russell Smith producing, and Mandate president Nathan Kahane and John Malkovich executive producing, according to The Hollywood Reporter. While 'Juno' is the story of a precocious teen who has an unplanned pregnancy, 'Young Adult' will look at, predictably, more adult issues. The film will follow a divorced, thirtysomething fiction writer who goes back to her hometown to find the proverbial ex-boyfriend who got away. The only problem? The ex is now married with a child.

For Cody, who has also been writing for the small screen on Showtime's 'United States of Tara,' 'Young Adult' is the latest in her burgeoning slate of projects. Currently, she's set to adapt the 'Sweet Valley High' books for Universal and is developing a new version of 'The Taming of the Shrew' for Paramount. Cody's last movie project was the teen horror satire 'Jennifer's Body,' starring Amanda Seyfried and Megan Fox.

While Cody's clearly had success as a solo act since her Oscar win, fans will have to wait a little longer to see if Team 'Juno' can recreate the magic that started it all.
