Noah Baumbach and Brett Ratner are two names we never thought we'd see in a sentence together, but, hey, that's showbiz.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Baumbach will be doing a rewrite on a script currently known as 'Untitled Heist,' a project that Brett Ratner has been attached to direct for some time. 'Untitled Heist' centers on a group of blue collar employees of a high rise who plan to rob the Penthouse Suite of $20 million. The project has had many incarnations over the years, with Eddie Murphy once attached to lead the ensemble cast. That version was scrapped when 'Ocean's Eleven' scribe Ted Griffin came on board to do a rewrite.

Brett Ratner's directing credits include the 'Rush Hour' trilogy, 'X-Men: The Last Stand' and a segment in 'New York, I Love You.' Noah Baumbach is the man behind the Oscar-nominated indie 'The Squid and the Whale' and 'Kicking and Screaming' (not to be confused with the Razzie-nominated film starring Will Ferrell).
