The 'Iron Man' sequel stars Downey as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Don Cheadle as War Machine and Mickey Rourke as Iron Man's main nemesis, Whiplash.
The first trailer established the romance between Iron Man and Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and a high-flying lifestyle for Iron Man's alter ego, Tony Stark. Rourke's Whiplash was also prominently featured.
'Iron Man 2,' due in theaters May 7, is directed by Jon Favreau.
The first 'Iron Man' was released in 2008 and went on to gross over $318 million domestically.
