Hot on the heels of his recently announced SNL hosting gig comes the news of another project in the works for the highly in-demand, wildly funny Zach Galifianakis.

Shock Till You Drop spoke with 'The Crazies' producer Michael Aguilar about his next film in development, 'Miracle Workers.' Aguilar revealed that Galifianakis has signed on to the supernatural comedy about two buds who set up shop as faux exorcists in order to make a buck, but soon get in over their heads; presumably, frightful high jinks ensue. Shock Til You Drop also points out that Galifianakis is no stranger to ghoulish flicks, having co-starred in David Twohy's 2002 haunted submarine picture, 'Below.' The role of Weird Wally in that film was not exactly a stretch for the zany comic actor, but it did lay the groundwork for his future eccentric characters, like the hilariously erratic Alan from 'The Hangover.'

Details of 'Miracles Workers' are otherwise hush-hush, and still developing, but an announcement of a director is expected soon.

The Aguilar-produced 'The Crazies' hits theaters Friday.
