Find out more and watch the original Last Dragon trailer after the jump... RihannaRihanna is set to star in an upcoming remake of the 1985 martial arts classic, The Last Dragon, alongside Hollywood legend Samuel L Jackson.

According to the Daily Mirror, a source reveals that the 21-year-old singer has been cast as a "super sexy, super kinky dominatrix" for the X-rated movie about a boy on a quest to become one of the best martial artists in the world. The film will apparently be co-produced by Wu-Tang rapper, RZA.

The Mirror's source also adds: "She has landed an incredibly challenging role alongside Samuel L. Jackson. But it's not a part for the faint-hearted. She will play a super sexy, super kinky dominatrix. She has been told to research the part – and this could well include a trip to an S&M dungeon."

Of course, as the story comes from the Mirror and their 'source', we may have to take this bit of news with a lorry load of salt. Only last year, several sources claimed the singer would debut in a remake of the 1992 blockbuster The Bodyguard, which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.

But so far, Rihanna and her team have yet to deny the story - and she has said in recent interviews that she doesn't want to be known as just a singer. "There is so much I want to do." she said, "I would love to try my hand at acting. I just want to keep getting better. I'll hopefully be making movies and having something to do with fashion as well as making music in years to come."

Take a look at the original 80s-tastic trailer for The Last Dragon where the lead female role was played by Vanity, who, back in 1985, was better known for her singing and being Prince's protege. Enjoy!
