President's Day (AKA Washington's Birthday) is a nationally observed holiday, but it has a bit of an identity problem. Some states celebrate it as George Washington's b-day, some include Abraham Lincoln, some recognize all of the presidents in history and others – okay, Massachusetts – give kudos only to the past prexies who've hailed from their state. But generally, it comes down to one question: can the O.G. Commander in Chief, George Washington, share the spotlight with the other great past presidents we love?

Personally, I'm in favor of getting the day off to celebrate all the (good) presidents who've served over the course of history. And that includes Abraham Lincoln and the handful of awesome presidents who traditionally get overlooked on the grounds that they only really served on celluloid. So tip your hat, raise your glass, and wax nostalgic over not only the dude who chopped down a cherry tree but also the Most Excellent Abe Lincoln, President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho, President Lindberg, Thomas "Tug" Benson, and more.

Abraham Lincoln, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989)
Inspirational Quote: "Be excellent to each other. And... PARTY ON, DUDES!"

After embarking on a most excellent adventure with Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted Theodore Logan, Abe Lincoln delivers an updated version of his famous Gettysburg Address to the students of San Dimas High...

The presidential plaudits continue below!

President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho, Idiocracy (2006)
Inspirational Quote: "I know s***'s bad right now, with all that starving bulls***, and the dust storms, and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings. But I got a solution."

Professional wrestler, porn star, and Commander in Chief President Camacho (Terry Crews) is hindered by the advanced stupidity of his generation, but nonetheless makes the smartest executive decision of his career when he enlists Joe "Not Sure" Bauers to solve the problems of the Brawndo-fueled future.

President Lindberg, The Fifth Element (1997)
Inspirational Quote: "O.K. There's a ball of fire, it's 1200 miles in diameter headin' straight for Earth, and we have no idea how to stop it. THAT's the problem."

Faced with an unspeakable force of evil rapidly approaching Earth, Federation President Lindberg (Tommy "Tiny" Lister, AKA former wrestler Zeus and Deebo from Friday) taps Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis) to help save the world. Best presidential casting of all time.

President Thomas "Tug" Benson, Hot Shots! Part Deux (1993)
Inspirational Quote: "We'll settle this the old navy way; the first guy to die, LOSES!"

Here's a President willing to put himself in the line of fire to get the job done. Arriving in time to battle Saddam Hussein mano-a-mano, President Benson defeats his foe, Terminator 2 style. (Clip below is in Spanish, which actually makes it more awesome.)

President Thomas J. Whitmore, Independence Day (1996)
Inspirational Quote: "I saw... its thoughts. I saw what they're planning to do. They're like locusts. They're moving from planet to planet... their whole civilization. After they've consumed every natural resource they move on... and we're next. Nuke 'em. Let's nuke the bastards."

President Whitmore (Bill Pullman) attempts to understand the invaders who have attacked earth, until he learns that the aliens are hell bent on destroying all of humanity. Then he's all action. How many other presidents would jump into a fighter jet and lead the charge into battle after rallying his troops with the most inspirational speech of all time?

These are only a handful of my most beloved movie presidents, but they're certainly not the only ones to grace the silver screen. Are there any others out there more bad-ass then these fine guardians of justice?
