It's been over 10 years since our last go-round with those lovable, eccentric and adventurous toys, but now they're back for a third installment that we hope (and kinda expect) will complete one of the greatest animated trilogies of all time. And after teasing us for months with character posters and short snippets of the film, Disney/Pixar have finally unloaded a full-length trailer for Toy Story 3 that has all the bells and whistles we've come to expect from a Pixar property ... and then some.

Andy is all grown up and heading off to college, so something has got to be done about all his old childhood toys. When they're donated to a day care center, things at first are looking up -- what with the upscale accommodations and all the new, fascinating toys to play with. But then things begin to take a turn for the worse -- and when Woody and the rest of the toys think Andy is looking for them, they decide to stage an escape to try to make it back to Andy before he takes off for college.

A couple things I noticed in the trailer was a fairly heavy focus on Mr. and Mrs. Potatohead, as well as what I imagine will be a very comical relationship between Ken (Michael Keaton) and Barbie (Jodi Benson). The trailer also teases what looks to be a pretty wild adventure outside the day care, so perhaps this is Pixar's way of keeping some secrets tucked under their collar for just a little while longer. Either way, if you're a Pixar fan, I'm sure you don't have to be sold on this one. Let's face it: You're going. We're all going. So let's just close our eyes, tap our heels together and hope that when they open it'll be June 18th.
