According to the Hollywood Reporter, Oscar nominee Colin Firth ('A Single Man') will join fellow Mr. Darcy Matthew Macfadyen in 'The Promised Land,' starring Jim Sturgess ('Across the Universe').

The film is now being described as a "political crime thriller," according to the report.

In the meantime, Witterbottom will show his new film, 'The Killer Inside Me,' at the Berlin Film Festival, which launched today. As for Firth, he'll make his first trip to the Kodak as a nominee when the Oscars are handed out live Sun., Mar. 7 on ABC.
