Everyone loves Tremors. You can deny it all you want, but you know, deep down, you have a soft spot in your heart for that 1990 classic featuring subterranean pre-Cambrian worms affectionately dubbed "Graboids." Hell, even the sequel wasn't too bad, even though Kevin "Val" Bacon wasn't in it and featured little baby Graboids with legs. Two more films were sent straight to DVD, and Michael Gross, who played the gun-totin' Burt in all four films, even starred in a short-lived DVD series.

According to DVD Active, fans of the series have only a scant three months to wait to snatch the entire 13-episode show on DVD. Set to be released on March 9th and retailing for approximately $30, the DVD is a three-disc set that is, sadly, completely devoid of any extra materials. The episodes are presented full frame and with English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo tracks. One of the main draws, however, is the box art. Not because it's good, but because it's dreadful.

Now, I haven't seen Tremors in awhile, and I've never actually seen the television show, but did the Graboids actually look like that? Also, uh...they were blind. They hunted by sound. And I'm fairly certain they didn't look like the heads of the hydra. If I'm incorrect and they simply changed the appearance and very nature of the Graboids for the series, then, well...no wonder it got cancelled.

Special thanks to Bloody Disgusting for bringing this to our attention.
