It was all about adrenaline junkies and show-stopping numbers at the 14th Annual Satellite Awards, as the International Press Academy awarded 'The Hurt Locker' and 'Nine' top honors.

'The Hurt Locker''s director, Kathryn Bigelow, also took home a Satellite for Best Director, and its star, Jeremy Renner, won for Best Lead Actor in a Drama. Shohreh Aghdashloo was awarded Best Lead Actress in a Drama for her role in 'The Stoning of Soraya M.', while Meryl Streep picked up the Satellite for Best Actress in a Comedy or Muiscal for her role as Julia Child in 'Julie & Julia'. Supporting awards were given to Christoph Waltz ('Inglorious Basterds') and Mo'Nique ('Precious'). Both Waltz and Mo'Nique have dominated the precursor awards for much of the season.

Meanwhile, Michael Stuhlbarg's performance in the Coen brothers' 'A Serious Man' won for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical to round out the acting categories.
